About Us

This site is managed by Zanda Hilger, who has a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology, is a licensed professional counselor, and has 25 years counseling and education experience working with special needs populations, including older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.

This site provides information, education, and resources for family, friends, and others who help older adults who may be limited or can no longer do many routine things for themselves.

Family Caregivers Online is funded with federal and state funds through three area agencies on aging: the Area Agency on Aging of North Central Texas, the Dallas Area Agency on Aging, and the Area Agency on Aging Tarrant County.
