Publications
The CyberSenior Review -- A project of the Internet Elders List, a world-wide mailing list of seniors written by seniors.

Senior Group Newsletter -- A monthly publication of an informal group of seniors, moderators, educators, senior service providers and others interested in how the Internet serves seniors and vice-versa.

Grand Times Senior Magazine -- A weekly Internet magazine designed exclusively for active older adults. Articles are added every Tuesday.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Healthfinder service -- Brings together consumer health information from many federal and state agencies, professional and non-profit organizations, universities and other sources. More than 1,000 topics are covered.

National Institutes of Health -- This web site brings together a large amount of information on diseases, medicines and health conditions.

The National Library of Medicine -- Sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. Includes such services as PubMed, a database of nearly 9 million bibliographic citations and abstracts in medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine and other sciences; and Grateful Med, a set of databases on medicines.

The Alzheimer's Association -- Has 200 local chapters.

Aging Well Village -- Health and wellness for mature adults seeking to start or maintain a healthy lifestyle. Nutrition, fitness, healing, medications, safety and more. Sponsored by the State of New York.

Health insurance information, counseling and assistance -- Free, unbiased consumer help with Medicare, managed care, Medigap insurance, long-term care insurance, and more. Sponsored by the State of New York.

T'ai Chi Chih -- Describes the series of T'ai Chi Chih movements, their benefits, and where to find classes.

Umbrella of the Capital District -- A nonprofit agency helping seniors and persons with disabilities to live safely and independently in their own homes. Umbrella provides home maintenance and other support services for residents of the Capital District of New York State.
